Torretta
is located in proximity to the eastern flank of the Mount Colombrina,
at 325m height. Founded in the 17th century, it counts toaday nearly
3,200 inhabitants.
The
Za Minica grotto, on the above mentioned mount, is a site of high
naturalistic and archaeological interest, as it contains carvings
representing animals and relics from the Upper Paleolithic.
